Teleproject UK has direct access to one of the UK's largest IVR (interactive voice response) platforms. Owned and managed by the BCH Group the system currently has over 3,000 lines of IVR, split across multiple platforms around the UK. The ability to handle so many simultaneous calls puts our capacity comfortably in excess of 60 million call minutes per month.
The equipment is housed in co-location suites, adjacent to our main operator exchanges this has a number of advantages over housing the equipment on-site; the facility is state of the art and boasts quality climate control which is essential for the smooth running of telecommunications equipment. The facility is also protected by alarms, fire protection systems, as well as 24-hour security, helping to ensure the services are fully protected and maintained at all times.
In addition to the environmental safeguards, we also operate a dual redundancy policy on hardware, meaning mission critical components have been installed twice, including file servers, database servers and network hubs. Even the IVR units themselves are mirror images of each other, meaning that even if one fails completely, calls will still be answered.
