Indirect Access

Gravity IDA is Teleproject UK’s Indirect Access (IDA) solution, a service that enables our customers to route some or all of their outbound phone calls via our platform and out over the Cable & Wireless network whilst still retaining their lines with BT.

The principal reason for doing this is to benefit from substantially better call rates to mobile and international destinations, however there are other factors such as real-time call statistics, the option to add call recording and our free call barring service to consider.

Indirect Access works by dialling a short code before the number that you wish to call. Our indirect access code is 14004 and this can be entered manually before each call, programmed into your company’s phone system or saved in the speed dial of your telephone handset.

The fantastic thing about this service is that it is entirely down to you how and when you use it, for example you may choose just to prefix calls to mobiles with 14004, similarly if your business regularly makes calls to international destinations you may want to prefix these calls with 14004. To ensure company wide compliance why not ask your company’s phone system maintainer to set up an outbound call plan.

The really good news is that your Gravity IDA account can be usually be set up in 48 hours, there are no long term contracts, all calls are billed by the second and unlike BT we do not charge a call set up fee.
